This course prepares certified nursing assistants to work in hospitals and other health care settings as part of a multidisciplinary team caring for patients who require acute care as well as chronic care. You will expand and deepen your skills in complex health care procedures including:
- Glucose monitoring
- Intravenous therapy
- Wound care
- Urinary catheterization

This hybrid course meets one day a week for clinical skills lab with the instructor. All other instruction is online. You must register for both Theory (XH-651) and clinical (XH-652) at the same time.
