High School Diploma Programs (GED/NEDP)
If you need to prepare for the GED exam in Howard County or earn your high school diploma, HCC can give you the skills you need.
Ready to Register for Classes?
Fall classes will run September 17 through December 11, 2018. To make an appointment, call 443-518-4919.
Orientation, Placement Testing and Registration
All registration sessions listed below will be held in the Hickory Ridge Building on HCC's main campus. Appointments are recommended.
The final date to make an appointment is Thursday, September 6.
• Wednesday, September 5, 10 a.m.
• Thursday, September 6, 5:30 p.m.
• Monday, September 10, 10 a.m.
• Tuesday, September 11, 5:30 p.m.
If you choose this option, be prepared to stay for at least five hours and bring payment ($50-$100) for class. If you have accommodations for testing, please bring documentation to registration.

Do you live or work in North Laurel? If so, you may want to attend a fall information/registration session to learn more about HCC’s high school diploma programs held in North Laurel:
The North Laurel Community Center is located at 9411 Whiskey Bottom Road, Laurel, MD 20723.
You must be 18 and officially withdrawn from high school.
