Ways To Give
Consider these value-added ways to contribute to student scholarships...
Honor a family name or pay tribute to a friend or organization with a permanent symbol of recognition. The HCCEF provides a wide range of named campus spaces on a variety of giving levels, including these high-profile opportunities currently available:
Opening in 2017, the new Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET) building will prepare students for in-demand STEM careers. With the building funded by State and County, the HCCEF uses 100 percent of named gifts to support students scholarships and programs. There are currently many opportunities for your named space to be associated with this vital link to the STEM workforce.
HCC’s state-of-the-art Health Sciences building (HSB) opened in 2013, and is addressing critical workforce shortages with expanded programming in the nursing and allied health fields, cutting-edge technology, and advanced simulation teaching methods. A limited number of opportunities remain for your named space in the HSB to be associated with this vital link to the health care workforce. 100 percent of named gifts are directed to student scholarships and programs.
The HCCEF has a variety of piano-naming and other giving opportunities to help HCC become an All-Steinway School and provide a legacy of excellence in music education for current and future generations of students.
The Howard County government provided a $2.5 million grant to the HCCEF for the Pathway Scholarship with $500,000 set aside for a matching campaign. With your help, we have turned the Pathway Scholarship into a $3 million investment in HCC students.
Sponsor one (or all!) of the HCCEF's popular special events with 100% of net proceeds benefiting students, including the Silas Craft Collegians fundraiser at Hunan Manor, Vino Scholastico, and the 5K Challenge Race.
