Horses must be nominated and the nominating fee of $100 paid by the closing date of entries, Monday, September 15, 2008.
The class is to be scored under Table II, Section 2(A), Timed First Jump Off. Fences set to national standard. No rider may show more than three (3) horses in this class. The starting order will be drawn. The Show Committee requires that all participants be formally attired. Riders must wear the following: scarlet, dark blue, dark green, or black coat; white shirt with white tie, white choker or white stock; white, fawn, or canary breeches; hunt cap, black boots. No exceptions will be permitted. No entries will be accepted after 9/15/08 Prize money checks will be made out to the owner of record unless otherwise specified on the application form, and a Social Security or federal ID number is on file. Prize money: $12,000; $8,800; $5,200; $3,200; $2,400; $2,000; $1,600; $1,200; $1,200; $800; $800, $800 | In order for the Columbia Classic Grand Prix to count for the IBM/USET Computer Ranking List, all horses must be stabled on the grounds of the horse show for the 24-hour period prior to the $40,000 Columbia Classic Grand Prix. The grounds, for the purpose of stabling, will be at Howard Community College. All horses must be on the grounds of the college by 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2007. Poling and/or the use of off sets will not be permitted for the horses participating in either class for the 24-hour period prior to the Grand Prix. |
