HCC Educational Foundation
The HCC Educational Foundation (HCCEF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that provides funds for scholarships, grants, facilities and equipment, and programs that benefit the college. Established in 1978, the foundation supports the college's mission to make learning accessible to all regardless of financial status. The HCCEF raises funds to support the students, programs and facilities of Howard Community College with the intent of fully realizing the mission of the college and continually advancing the stature of the college. The foundation's mission is to improve lives and create opportunities by funding pathways to student success.
The HCCEF is governed by a dedicated volunteer board of directors made up of community and business leaders.
Scholarships are critical to allow students in financial need and academically outstanding students to begin their college careers or enhance skills for tomorrow's jobs. Without aid, many students would be unable to afford to pursue their education. With requests for aid increasing along with enrollment, the need for increased giving is crucial.
The HCCEF is committed to raising funds for the scholarships, endowments and programs that will assist HCC students in the pursuit of their educational goals.
