Membership and Benefits

We invite you to join the Alumni & Friends Association and stay connected to Howard Community College.  A lifetime membership to the Alumni Association is $30. As a member, you qualify for the following benefits (subject to change):

Alumni Magazine, The HCC Experience
All lifetime members receive the HCC Experience, our annual alumni magazine.  This publication keeps you informed about new and exciting developments on campus.  Each issue contains information about special areas such as the nursing program, the Rouse Scholars program and the Silas Craft Collegians program.  In addition, you will learn about new programs and courses that may be of interest.  We share information about the successes and accomplishments of HCC alumni and hope that you will stay in touch with us and share your latest news.  Click here to update your alumni information.

If you prefer to receive an electronic version of the magazine by email rather than by standard mail, please contact us at 410-772-4450 or alumni@howardcc.edu.  Be sure to include your current email address, and let us know when it changes.

Library Privileges at HCC
The library is available during all open hours with the same borrowing privileges afforded to current students, and on-campus access to electronic resources.  You must present your alumni membership card to check out.  For more information, contact 410-772-4922.

College Computer Labs
HCC provides two open computer labs: ELB 110 and L 180.  These labs are available to lifetime members during most hours although currently enrolled students have first priority.  For more information, call 410-772-4444.

Discount on Athletics and Fitness Center Community Pass
Lifetime members are eligible for a discount on the Athletics and Fitness Center Community Pass.  Call 410-772-4804 or visit the athletics website for the most current dates and times.

Invitations to Social Events, including the Columbia Classic Grand Prix
The college periodically hosts events for alumni and friends to strengthen and enhance their connection to HCC.  All lifetime members receive two free lawn tickets  for the Columbia Classic Grand Prix, HCC’s biggest fundraiser held each year on campus to raise scholarships for students.

Discounts for Rep Stage Theatre Performances
Lifetime members receive a $2 discount to all Rep Stage performances.  Rep Stage, an equity theatre-in-residence at HCC, offers professional theatre at an affordable price.  For information on the current season, visit www.repstage.org or call 410-772- 4900.
