The Celebration of the Arts gala is one of Howard County’s premier fundraising events and an important showcase for local performing and visual artists. The event, which takes place in the Horowitz Center annually, includes a reception, silent auction and main stage performance, featuring unforgettable performances and the presentation of the annual Howie Awards.

The Columbia Festival of the Arts, a Horowitz Center community partner, presents four weekend-long arts festivals throughout the year, comprised of both free and ticketed events, featuring world-class performances, exhibitions, concerts, family activities, master classes, workshops and community dialogues with many events taking place in the Horowitz Center.
- Howard County Jewish Federation Red Tent Series
The Jewish Federation of Howard County, a community partner of the Horowitz Center, is a nonprofit organization whose vision is to support and serve the Howard County Jewish community and Jews throughout the world. The Federation also works to promote Jewish identity and enrich Jewish life through cultural activities and programs. One such offering is The Red Tent, a women’s speaker series, presented in Monteabaro Recital Hall.
