Table 2 Table: Food Trucks. Table 2 Table is a half-hour program that usually celebrates some of the most well-known restaurants in the region. But on this episode, we’re featuring two dining establishments that think outside the box, or at least outside the building. Giggy’s BBQ & Catering was started up by Ed Gignac, who decided it was time to be his own boss. His food truck serves up Maryland barbecue – pit beef, pit ham, pit turkey, pulled pork – along with Ed’s own Cajun creations. The business is a family affair for Ed, who works alongside his wife and daughters. River House Pizza Co. is the brainchild of Nathan Sowers, who went from aircraft mechanic to stay at home dad. While he was taking care of his kids, Nathan taught himself the fine art of bread baking, which finally led to him buying his first mobile pizza oven. Nathan now has three of them and his pizzas have become quite popular in Howard County.
