Request your transcript in one of three ways:

Note:  Your HCC transcript reflects all of your credit coursework.

If there are any holds on your account or record, your transcript will not be issued. Transcripts will be processed within two business days. Please allow extra time at peak periods such as end of semester, commencement, and late registration.

National Student Clearinghouse

You may request a copy of your transcript online through the National Student Clearinghouse 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  There is a $2.25 fee for each transcript requested.  A credit card is required for payment.

You will need the following to order a transcript online:

  •  A valid major credit card
  •  Access to a printer and fax machine
    (to fax signed release form)
  •  An email account

  • You will be required to fax in your signature to the National Student Clearinghouse to authorize the release of your transcript.  The fax number is 1-703-742-4238.  If you prefer, you may mail your signature to:

Note:  This service is not provided by HCC but rather by a private contractor (National Student Clearinghouse), who forwards the transcript requests to HCC.  Using this service does NOT guarantee that transcripts will be processed sooner than those requested directly through HCC.


Mailed Requests

Follow these steps to have an official transcript mailed:

  • Obtain a transcript request form: Forms may also be picked up at the
    Office of Records, Registration, & Veterans' Affairs.
  • Fill out the transcript request form completely.
  • Submit the signed form by mail to the:

Walk-In Requests

A photo ID is required for transcript pickup.  No exceptions.

  • Obtain a transcript request form. Forms may be also picked up at the
    Office of Records, Registration, & Veterans' Affairs.
  • Fill out the transcript request form completely.
  • Submit the signed form to the Office of Records, Registration & Veterans' Affairs (RCF-233)

Note:  A maximum of two copies of your transcript can be processed at the registration counter.  If you require more than two copies, complete out a transcript request form and place it in the drop slot at the Office of Records, Registration & Veterans' Affairs.  You do not need to wait in line if you are using the drop slot.
