Students are sometimes required to provide semester enrollment verifications to health insurers or other companies that require proof of enrollment. Enrollment verifications at HCC are provided through the Office of Records, Registration and Veterans Affairs or online through the National Student Clearinghouse which students can access through HCC Express. Students may visit the website, www.howardcc.edu/rrvaforms to download and complete an enrollment verification form. The form may be faxed, mailed, brought in or placed in the designated drop box located outside of the RRVA office. The fax number is 443-518-4426. There is no charge for the in-office service or for the online service through the National Student Clearinghouse when accessed through HCC Express.
Student registration information is periodically submitted to the National Student Clearinghouse. The college submits enrollment reports to the Clearinghouse approximately once a month during the fall and spring terms, beginning the first week of classes. Enrollment will be reported once during the winter term, and twice during the summer term. Your enrollment verification will be available online once your registration information has been received by the Clearinghouse. Enrollment verifications for semesters prior to Spring 2003 must be directed to the Office of Records, Registration & Veterans Affairs. All Department of Education loan deferment requests are required to be processed after the third week of the fall and spring semesters. Winter and summer enrollment verifications will be processed as submitted to the Office of Records, Registration & Veterans Affairs.
