How to Petition to Graduate
Step 1
Meet with an advisor. Your advisor will review your academic record to determine if you have met your degree program requirements.
Step 2
Complete a Petition to Graduate form. Your advisor will assist you.
Please note: A separate Petition to Graduate form is required for each degree and/or certificate you plan to receive
Step 3
Take the completed Petition to Graduate form that has been signed by you and your advisor to the cashier for payment. You may pay the $25 fee with cash, check or credit card. The cashier will keep the white copy of the form to submit to the Office of Records and Registration; you will be given the yellow copy and a receipt of payment for your records. There is a $25 fee for each petition you submit.
Step 4
Notify the Office of Records and Registration if you change your address. Important information regarding your petition and commencement will be mailed to your address of record.
