Please type a 500 word essay using Microsoft Word. If you do not have access to Microsoft Word, please use the student computer labs located in ELB-110. Your essay should include your educational goals, the benefits of a college education, and how you meet the scholarship criteria established by the donor(s). If you are applying for a scholarship that lists specific requirements, please be sure to incorportate how you meet that criteria in your essay. For questions regarding specific scholarship criteria, please refer to HCC's scholarship webpage.
You MUST include your name and student ID on your essay (i.e., document named as Smith_John_121212_09_10_Essay.doc or name/student ID typed in word document prior to saving).
