Students who receive an appeal approval of their financial aid restriction or an appeal approval due to unusual enrollment history will be placed on "Academic Plan" status. Students on this status are required to meet with an academic advisor or retention specialist to complete an Academic Plan. Once the Academic Plan is submitted to Financial Aid Services, the students financial aid eligibility status will be updated and their financial aid awards will be reinstated (institutional funds are reinstated based on available funding). Students on Academic Plan must continually meet the terms of the academic plan as outlined in the letter granting the appeal. If a student fails to meet the terms of the Academic Plan, the student loses financial aid eligibility. Students on Academic Plan due to SAP can regain eligibility by meeting the SAP standards.
