Howard Community College’s KIDS’ CONNECTION web site is designed as a service for the young people in our community who are in grades 3 - 8. It is also designed as a resource for those who are parenting, teaching, coaching, counseling and mentoring young people. We hope to contribute to the development of critical thinking skills, make learning fun and exciting, reward curiosity and exploration, and most of all, show youngsters the connection among educational institutions at all levels. Among our most important goals is to join with other organizations and individuals in our community in reaching out to our younger citizens and their families with information of value to them.

Personal information that youngsters provide on this site is used only to respond to a question they may ask or to feedback they provide via the site's Contact Us feature. Other site features do not collect e-mail addresses or personal information. Howard Community College has made every effort to include links on this site that are appropriate for children in the 3rd-8th grades. We cannot guarantee that these sites have similar policies regarding the collection and use of personal information. Nor can we guarantee which sites they link to in turn.
