Howard Community College F1 students are permitted to work part-time (no more than 20 hours each week) on the HCC campus during the fall and spring semesters as long as they are maintaining F1 student status.  Students are allowed to work full-time (up to 40 hours each week) during the month of January and during the summer months.  No special permission from a Designated School Official or from the Department of Homeland Security is needed.
