OPT Information Session

In this session, you will learn about Optional Practical Training: what it is, who is eligible for it, and how to apply.  If you have attended an OPT session in the past but would like to have updated information or receive the application packet again, you are also welcome to attend.  Please email nmaitland@howardcc.edu to register.

F1 students who were in the United States any time during the 2011 calendar year are required to submit forms to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) by April 15th.  Forms, samples, and basic instructions will be provided during these information sessions.  Both sessions will cover the same information, so you only need to attend one.

For anyone who is unable to attend one of these sessions, you can print all of the tax forms you need from this website: http://www.howardcc.edu/admissions/apply/intl/taxes.html.  Forms can also be picked up in-person from the Office of Admissions and Advising during open hours.  We look forward to seeing you next week!
