Current and Graduating High School Students

  • Freshman Focus Program: HCC's open entry program for graduating high school seniors. Students participating in the Freshman Focus Program receive early testing, advising, and registration dates that help them finish the enrollment process before they graduate from high school. The application for Freshman Focus will be available starting in Late September for students graduating from high school in the spring of 2015. 

  • Scholars Programs: The James W. Rouse Scholars and STEM Scholars Program are selective programs designed to challenge students with rigorous course work while at the same time offering a supportive environment with mentoring, professional development and service learning. The Scholars Application will be available starting in October for students graduating from high school in the spring of 2015. 

  • Silas Craft Collegians Program: A program designed to offer put all of the support services offered at HCC at their fingertips. This program is selective and is looking for highly motivated students whose past academic history does not reflect their full potential.The online application will be available in October for for students graduating from high school in the spring of 2015.

  • Early Entrance Program (Dual & Concurrent Enrollment): For high school students who want to enroll in HCC courses while they are still in high school.  Early Entrance applicants should apply by clicking the link below, and answer "yes" to the question about taking courses in high school.  The Early Entrance Signature Form must also be submitted to complete the admissions process.
