A future in the sciences requires a solid educational foundation in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science, as well as writing and speech courses essential for communicating scientific and technical solutions.
Over the course of four semesters, as a STEM Scholars student, students will hone their skills in research, communications, teamwork, and career-planning by completing 15 credits in honors courses. There will also be a 1-credit seminar each semester.
Honors courses will be based upon the student's major. There are many honors options in the math and sciences.
