Students participating in the Freshman Focus Program receive early testing, advising, and registration dates that help them finish the enrollment process before they graduate from high school. Scholars Programs: The James W. Rouse Scholars and STEM Scholars are selective programs designed to challenge students with rigorous course work while at the same time offering a supportive environment with mentoring, professional development and service learning. Silas Craft Collegians Program: A program designed to put all of the HCC support services offers at students’ fingertips. This program is selective and is looking for highly motivated students whose past academic history does not reflect their full potential.The online application is currently available for students graduating from high school in the spring of 2015. STARTALK Summer Language Program: is a tuition-free, intensive summer language program for current 9th graders through graduating seniors that are interested in learning critical need languages. The program is a selective admissions program for students interested in studying Arabic or Mandarin Chinese. The application for STARTALK is currently available and the deadline for the application and all supplemental materials is April 24, 2015. Early Entrance Program (Dual & Concurrent Enrollment): For high school students who want to enroll in HCC courses while they are still in high school. Early Entrance applicants should apply by clicking the link below. After you create your account, you may click “Apply Online”, select “Start a New Admissions Application" and answer "yes" to the questions about being a Current High School Studetn and taking courses in high school. The Early Entrance Signature Form must also be submitted to complete the admissions process.
