Students are strongly encouraged to see an academic advisor (RCF-242) regarding this requirement and attend an information session. Placement scores are valid for two years. *Subject to change. Accelerated RN, Traditional RN, and LPN Programs: Applicants to the clinical portion of the Accelerated RN, Traditional RN, and LPN programs must successfully complete the Evolve Clinical Nursing Admission Assessment (A2) in order to qualify for admission. This requirement is in addition to GPA and prerequisite course requirements. Please refer to the FAQ's for recommendations on when to take the exam and other helpful information, including how to access a personalized remediation plan for students who are unsuccessful. Students who take the A2 at a Prometric testing center instead of at HCC should request that Prometric make the scores available electronically to HCC. The testing fee is non-refundable. Students must wait three months in between testing attempts and can only test three times in a given year. Students who wish to reschedule their test date or who do not attend on their scheduled testing date are subject to repaying the testing fee for a subsequent test registration.
