Howard Community College (HCC) recognizes that there are many ways for students to earn college credit through traditional and non-traditional means, including four year colleges and universities, accredited training programs, trade and vocational schools, military training and standardized test scores like AP, IB, CLEP, DSST and Excelsior College Exams.  All students who possess prior academic credit are strongly recommended to have their prior course work evaluated.
