Dickinson College and Howard Community College Graduation Requirements

The following courses are the Howard Community College courses by number that will transfer to and fulfill Graduation Requirements at Dickinson College. Other courses will be reviewed on a course-by-course basis to meet specific requirements (virtual courses do not transfer).

5. Cross-cultural studies:
Languages: Foreign Language through the intermediate level, including American Sign Language (201 and 202) or equivalent (AP, SAT II, Placement Exam).
U.S. Diversity: One course with a focus on U.S. diversity

Comparative Civilization: One course with a focus on the comparative study of civilizations

6. Physical education activities: Two semesters of PE, 1 of which could be a PE & Wellness
7. Major
Students who complete an approved Associates Degree Howard Community College Honors curriculum will receive 16 credits.  Those courses not fulfilling graduation requirements will be reviewed on a course-by-course basis for major requirements.  Any non-designated courses will be electives.
