E-Learning Test Request Information for Faculty

Test Center

As the number of students taking online classes increases, so have the number of requests from students to test at alternate testing locations.  In an effort to accommodate our students, as well as, offer our supportive services to our faculty, the Test Center has created a procedure for E-learning requests.

Student Responsibilities

  1. Students are responsible for locating and obtaining contact information for a Test Center at a community college, university or college, or military base.  To help students locate an alternate testing location, we recommend students use

  2. Students are then to obtain the following information: Proctor name, Test Center name, Test Center address, e-mail address for the proctor or Test Center, hours of operation, Test Center phone number and Test Center fax number.

  3. Students are required to contact his/her professor and pass on the information obtained.

  4. Students then fill out an online E-learning examination request form.

Faculty/ Test Center Partnership

Test Center staff are excited to work with Faculty to provide testing services for HCC e-Learners.

  1. If you prefer to send your tests directly to the alternate testing location, you may do so when the student contacts you and provides the obtained information.

  2. If you would like to work with the Test Center to coordinate testing, please fill out the online e-learning test request- approval and administration form.

Important Information

Test Center staff will verify that the alternate testing location and proctor adhere to similar policies and procedure as the HCC Test Center.

You will receive a copy of the student’s E-learning examination request form.

Test Center Staff will not send any test without your permission. By filling out this form, you will be approving your student to test at an alternate testing location.

You have the option of providing a semesters’ worth of tests with one submission OR you can submit individual tests ONE WEEK prior to the first date of administration. If the Test Center does not have one week notice, we cannot guarantee the test will be delivered on time for your student’s scheduled appointment time.

Professors are responsible for contacting the alternate testing location directly if there are any changes to your test, material allowances, administration dates or instructions.
