Teacher Education transfer programs prepare students for transfer into four-year education programs leading to a bachelor’s degree.  Upon completion of the education degree, students may earn their credential to be certified to teach in the state where the credential is acquired.  Maryland has reciprocal certification agreements with most states. 

For students interested in majoring in special education, select the Associate of Arts in Teaching, Elementary Education program.

In order to be admitted to a Teacher Education program in Maryland you must submit PRAXIS I passing scores.

• Teacher Education - Secondary Education - Chemistry
• Teacher Education - Secondary Education - Mathematics

• Teacher Education - Secondary Education - Spanish

Select one of the following programs if you plan to transfer outside of Maryland.

• Teacher Education - Early Childhood Education
• Teacher Education - Elementary Education
