1.  What language training services do you provide to employers?

Language training can be customized for groups of employees, using the client's choice of time frame, language, format, and group.  Individual employees can enroll in already existing language courses, either for credit or noncredit.  Individual tutoring can also be arranged for individual employees.

2.  If I am interested in taking a traditional class, where can I find information?

If you are a credit student and just want to take a traditional class, click:  World Languages

3.  Is training available for languages not currently offered at HCC?

Yes.  As part of the World Languages Institute, HCC can provide instruction in languages that are not part of its regular program.  The College has access to a variety of expert language instructors and can develop courses in any language. 

4.  Does HCC offer language immersion experiences?

Yes.  The College can design and deliver a language immersion experience at your request.  Not only can the College provide the academic component but it also has the facilities to offer an isolated, total immersion experience.

In addition, the College offers several Study Abroad language immersion programs.  These may be reviewed from links on the World Languages or International Education web pages.

5.  Does HCC offer other language services besides training?

Yes.  The College can provide translation services for textbooks, manuals, procedures, and other business documents, needs assessments, evaluations of proficiency, related training such as instructor readiness or cultural awareness.

6.  Does the College have a program for those who need to learn or improve their English skills?

Yes.  Our award-winning English Language Institute has an excellent reputation for providing English language training to non-native speakers.
