Learner-centered instruction emphasizing communicative competence
Instruction in all of the critical skill areas: reading, listening, speaking and writing
Trained native language teachers and native-speaking support staff
Classes tailored around the needs and time requirements of the organization
Curricula and vocabulary relevant to actual job/professional use
Instruction in both language and culture, recognizing that cultural awareness plays a critical role in language learning
State-of-the art technology including language laboratories, language-learning software with video/audio taping for pronunciation improvement, and on-line support
A conversation program (Conversation Partners) and optional cultural experiences
Variety of credentials including academic credit, Continuing Education Units (CEU's), and certificates of competency
Small class sizes
Study-abroad opportunities in some of the targeted areas
Other Services:
Complete language immersion experience including secluded facility, curriculum design, faculty, and materials
Translation of training manuals, procedures, and other business documents
Evaluation of proficiency in aural, oral, written, and reading skills
"Train the trainer" programs to enhance training skills of linguists and/or to improve English fluency of native speakers
