Online Courses

Most online courses are conducted in a password-protected Web environment called Canvas. Registered students may logon to their Canvas course sites beginning on the first day of the Spring semester, January 28, 2012. To logon, follow the logon instructions at .http://howardcc.instructure.com.

Courses designated with a "W" in the section number are TeleWeb courses. A TeleWeb course is an online course that includes commercially produced telecourse videos. It may also include the telecourse text and student study guide. TeleWeb course activities are conducted online, while the video programs are delivered in a variety of ways:

Cablecast on HCC-TV, Comcast cable channel 96 and Verizon channel 41, and/or
Video-streamed from the HCC Library homepage, and/or
Checkout from the HCC Library.

Office Technology Online Courses

Office Technolgy online courses are NOT taught in Canvas. Immediately after enrolling, submit the pre-semester notification form linked in the below list. You will receive specific course instructions the week classes begin.
