
This course will provide students with the opportunity to study human behavior in sport and exercise settings. It is designed to provide students with information about research in the field of sport psychology as well as practical knowledge to become a more effective fitness instructor, athlete, athletic administrator, physical educator, personal trainer, or coach. Tutorials: 14 online tutorials, corresponding to the content in one or more chapters int he text book. Web Assignments: Students will be given assignments that relate to the materials presented in the learning modules and textbook chapters. Writing Assignments: Students will be asked to complete 3 papers to show application of concepts presented inthe text. Quizzes: Students will complete 14 quizzes, each covering 1 learning module. Exams Students will take 14 online quizzes, and 2 unit exams and a cumulative final on-campus or proctored at an acceptable institution. All quizzes and the final will consist of multiple-choice and will be timed. The unit exams may consist of matching, multiple-choice, short answer, and essay questions.
