CMSY132 - Introduction to Windows

This course is designed to give students skills to understand and use Windows. Emphasis is on managing folders and files and customizing the desktop.

Although the name of this course makes it sound like a good first beginning computer course, IT ISN’T. If you are new to computers, you should consider taking CMSY-102 Beginning Word Processing, which is the most basic computer course that teaches you a practical skill while you also learn how to use Windows. The Windows course can be difficult to understand without first having some understanding of what your computer can do and why the topics you would learn in this course are important.
