
In this course, the student will be able to identify and describe current organizational and management and marketing principles and practices as they are occurring in today's business world. Students will be able to analyze various types of organizations within which they may work and the management problems encountered in these organizations. Students will also recognize changes that are presently occurring in many businesses by watching videos, and reading current business periodicals. It is strongly recommended that you have regular access to a computer; familiarity with its operating system (Windows 98, Windows XP, etc.); electronic file management skills (use of folders, file compression or zipping, sending and receiving files) before enrolling in this course.
