Ambassadors for Community Transformation

The Ambassadors for Community Transformation (ACT) is an opportunity for students passionate about volunteering to come together, talk, plan and engage in service to create change in our community.  To learn more, come to one of the regular meetings, which are held Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30pm in N 206!

Operation: Community Outreach

Operation: Community Outreach (OCO) is open to any student who wants to sign-up and volunteer with other HCC students interested in service opportunities outside of the classroom.  Three events are scheduled for the spring.  Students can sign up for one, or all opportunities up to a week in advance of the experience.  Students must sign up in person at the Center for Service Learning (MH 120) to participate in OCO Volunteer Adventures.
Volunteer Adventure 1: Organize clothing donations for those in need at Paul's Place in Baltimore.  Friday, February 20th, 9:15am-1:30pm.
Volunteer Adventure 2: Serve lunch to hungry women and children at My Sister's Place in Baltimore.  Friday, March 13th, 10:15am-2:00pm.
Volunteer Adventure 3: Clean up debris at Patapsco State Park in honor of Earth Day.  Friday, April 24th, 12:15pm-4:30pm.

The English Language Center at HCC
