| Applications to the program will be examined for three important qualifications: - Evidence of academic potential
- Evidence of strong motivation and determination to succeed
- English and math skill levels
Academic potential and the motivation and desire to succeed can be demonstrated in one or more ways. High school transcripts, test scores, teacher and counselor recommendations and nominations, as well as information provided by students, will all be reviewed. Applicants will also take HCC’s English and math placement exams.
