
Professor, Psychology
Jim Bell, Professor of Psychology, has taught for more than 40 years. His goal is to provide interesting and challenging courses with a focus on understanding, applying, and thinking. His book Evaluating Psychological Information, now in its third edition, grew out of his teaching students to think critically. Dr. Bell received his Ph. D. from the University of Minnesota. He also helps adjunct faculty improve their teaching. He has led over 100 workshops, has written a handbook on teaching, and has a website for college teachers. Class Resources
