Office: Hickory Ridge 342
Academic Qualifications: B.S., Mathematics, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo; Ph.D., Mathematics, University of California, San Diego.
I have been teaching at Howard Community College since 2013. Before coming to HCC, I taught mathematics at several institutions on the west coast, including a community college and a four-year college. I come to HCC with 16 years of experience teaching mathematics, and three years working outside of academia as a computer programmer.
In my personal life away from school, my interests include backgammon, baseball (Go Giants!), mathematics (yes, even outside of school!), reading, bicycling, and beagles. I am originally from California, where I spent the majority of my life.
