I started my career as a contractor in the Laboratory for Solar Physics and Astronomy at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. In my 15 years there I did research in Solar Physics, principally in theoretical and experimental X-ray and gamma-ray emission from solar flares. I also coordinated a student internship program. I first tried teaching in the summer of 2000. I loved it so much I decided to change careers and become a full-time teacher. |
