Howard Community College’s new Physical Therapist Assistant program curriculum is designed for students who aspire to an allied health career in physical therapy. Graduates will earn a 70 credit Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree. It is highly recommended that students complete the 21 credits of general education prerequisites and any foundational courses in advance of January 2013, when it is projected that the fully accredited PTA major-required coursework will begin being offered at HCC.
