Introducing a new partnership between Carroll, Frederick and Howard Community Colleges

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! CLASSES START FALL 2012

The Mount Airy College Center, a partnership between Carroll, Frederick, and Howard Community Colleges, will provide affordable health care education programs in a convenient location.

The new state-of-the-art center will offer credit degree programs, noncredit allied health courses, certification preparation, and continuing professional education in a number of high-demand health care occupations.

 All courses will be available to students from Carroll, Frederick and Howard Counties at in-county tuition rates.

Directions

From Frederick and points west: Take I-70 east toward Mount Airy to exit 68, MD-27 north. Travel 1.4 miles and turn right onto Twin Arch Road. Turn left onto Century Road. Turn right onto Back Acre Circle.

From Baltimore and points east: Take I-70 west toward Mount Airy to exit 68, MD-27 north. Travel 1.4 miles and turn right onto Twin Arch Road. Turn left onto Century Road. Turn right onto Back Acre Circle.

From Washington, D.C. and points south: Take I-270 north to exit 16 for Father Hurley Blvd toward MD-27/Ridge Road. Continue on MD-27 for approximately 14 miles. Turn right onto Twin Arch Road. Turn left onto Century Road. Turn right onto Back Acre Circle.

From Westminster and points north: Take MD-27 south toward Mount Airy. Turn left onto Twin Arch Road. Turn left onto Century Road. Turn right onto Back Acre Circle.

The following credit certificate and degree programs will be available to residents of all three counties at the sponsoring institution's in-county tuition rate:

HOWARD: Emergency Medical Technician - EMT Certificate (Formerly EMT-Basic)

CARROLL: Health Information Technology - Certificate; Associate of Applied Science

FREDERICK: Respiratory Care - Associate of Applied Science (selective admission only); Medical Laboratory Technician - Associate of Applied Science

HCC credit students may register for foundational courses associated with these programs, EMT coursework, and general education courses at their Howard County tuition rate. When students begin taking programmatic coursework, they will pay the in-county tuition rate for the sponsoring institution.
