Patricia has one foot in ENGL/World Languages Division and the other in FINE ARTS. In the English Division, she currently coordinates the Literature Program. She was a pioneer in HCC’s distance learning and  International Education Programs being one of the first instructors to use illustrations in WebCt and successfully leading, with Jean Svacina, student-faculty tours of Athens and Crete (2004, 2006).  She has  also been involved in the Kid’s Connection Excellent Expert Program, is an editor of the HCC MUSE literary magazine, and recently judged the NTCE 2006 literary magazine competition for high school students.
