Sarah Saxer joined the full-time English/ World Languages faculty in 2007, after teaching ESL as an adjunct at HCC for 5 years.  In 2009, she began serving as the Director of ESL.  Her previous teaching experience includes two years at the intensive English program at the University of Illinois and ESL faculty positions in Korea and Mexico.  Sarah also completed part of her MA program abroad at the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain.

Sarah is involved in the efforts at HCC to globalize the curriculum, and serves on the English placement team.  She is also a Step UP coach.
