Professor Roberson has been at Howard Community College since 2010 and teaches writing, literature and First Year Experience classes. Some of the campus initiatives that she is involved in include Writing Across the Curriculum, Ethics Committee, Step UP and college readiness. As the co-facilitator of the Global Faculty Professional Learning Community, she leads discussions about the global issues and their impact on higher education. Elisa is the co-Director of College Composition for English 121.

As a scholar, her undergraduate studies in English focused on Shakespearean Literature and her Master’s level work was in Educational leadership. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Administration.
