Ryna May has been teaching at Howard Community College in the English/World Languages Division as an adjunct since 2000 and joined the faculty full-time in the Fall 2006 semester.  Ryna has also taught full-time at Prince George’s Community College where she was a member of the Honors Faculty and the creator/editor of the online literary journal, Brown Bag.  She was once a student at HCC and went on to earn her BA in English Literature as a Wilson Scholar from the University of Baltimore and her MA from the University of Maryland at College Park.         

At HCC, Ryna serves as an advisor for Phi Theta Kappa honors students, as co-coordinator of the literature program, as co-editor of The Muse, and as Assistant Director of the Schoenbrodt Honors Program.
