David Buck

David has been a member of the English/World Languages Division since 2007. Before coming to HCC, he was an English Instructor for eight years at a community college in New Jersey. His interests include the assessment of writing, developmental education, the pedagogical uses of technology and blended learning, and writing across the curriculum. In his time at HCC, David has served on the English Placement Team, as a coach in the Step-Up program, as an advisor for the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and as a professor in the Schoenbrodt and Rouse Honors Programs.
