Angela began teaching as an adjunct faculty member in at HCC in 1999 and became a full time member of the English/World Languages Division in 2006. At Howard Community College, she teaches composition, literature, and developmental reading and writing. Angela has developed and taught online composition courses at HCC since 2002 and she integrates Canvas course sites in all of her classes. Current research interests are children’s literature and instructional technology.

In addition to teaching, Angela is active in the HCC college community, serving on the Faculty Forum executive board, the Diversity committee, and the Developmental Education committee. Angela also co-chairs HCC’s Banned Books Week events and the Faculty Forum used book sale to benefit student book funds.
