Angela began teaching as an adjunct faculty member in at HCC in 1999 and became a full time member of the English/World Languages Division in 2006.  At Howard Community College, she teaches composition, literature, and developmental reading and writing.  Angela has developed and taught online composition courses at HCC since 2002 and she uses CE6 supplemental websites in all of her classes.  Current research interests are the integration of both instructional technology and popular culture in the teaching of writing.  

In addition to teaching, Angela is active in the HCC college community, serving on the Faculty Forum executive board, the English Placement team, and the Developmental Education committee.   Angela also serves as coordinator of the English 096 Reading labs at HCC.
