I cordially invite you to explore our hospitality and culinary program webpages to learn more about the dynamic learning opportunities available in Hospitality and Culinary Management (HCM) at Howard Community College (HCC). HCC is one of the fastest growing two-year hospitality and culinary management programs in terms of student enrollment, and, I am proud to say, the only two-year program in the state of Maryland with a commercial facility attached to the program. Students in the program will undergo training at the Belmont Conference Center in Elkridge, MD, where they will receive hands-on experience by working alongside industry professionals while learning industry standards. The program faculty members, who are extremely talented and industry savvy, and I work very hard to make both of our high-demand programs accessible to all students. It is important that all prospective HCM students obtain as much information as possible for their specific needs and interests to ensure a smooth admission and timely progress toward graduation; hence, our website plays a significant role, as do all the other ways we communicate to interested students.

I am privileged to be the director of these innovative programs. It is a delight to work with faculty and students who seek—and create—new knowledge through their classroom interactions! Hospitality is a multifaceted industry with wide-ranging options and ever-changing topics for study.
