Pathways to CyberSecurity Corsortium
HCC is one of the partners in the Pathways to CyberSecurity Careers Consortium, a consortium of academic, industry and government partners who were awarded a Community-Based Job Training grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to train workers to fill jobs in cyber security.  HCC is working together with the Howard County Workforce Development Office to offer classes which will enable students to move into positions in the cybersecurity field.  For more information, visit this page.

NSA 4011 LogoHCC's network security programs that are offered through the Business & Computer Systems Division have received the NSA designation of complete compliance with the 4011 standards.  Students who successfully complete these programs will be eligible for the NSA Certification to the 4011 standard.


Division Outcomes, A Commitment to Excellence
The Business and Computer Systems Division at HCC presents innovative and up-to-date curricula. There are ten outcomes that are instilled in various courses throughout each degree program in the Division. By completion of a degree program within the Business & Computer Systems Division, each graduate is expected to have achieved all ten outcomes. The outcomes serve as the basis for transfer to a baccalaureate program and/or effective functioning in a business career.
