Cello Ensemble

You are invited to play in the HCC Cello Ensemble, a unique group that performs works written for that genre as well as arrangements of everything from Mendelssohn to the Beatles! They meet on Saturdays from 1:00–3:00 p.m. and also give one concert per semester.

Chamber Orchestra

Audition and sign up for the HCC Chamber Orchestra, a group of 15-20 musicians who perform music from Baroque to Britten. The group rehearses once a week on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and gives a concert each semester.

Jazz Ensemble

The HCC Jazz Ensemble performs standard jazz repertoire and studies concepts of improvisation. Immediately after enrolling, music majors should send Kyle Coughlin an e-mail message at kcoughlin@howardcc.edu. This ensemble meets Friday afternoons from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.

HCC Singers

HCC Singers is a vocal ensemble that performs traditional and contemporary choral literature. This ensemble meets Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 9:15 pm and Monday/Wednesday afternoons from 12:00 - 12:50 pm.
