Art History

Along with the traditional art history survey courses covering prehistory through the Gothic period and the Renaissance through contemporary times, we also offer classes in the history of architecture and the history of photography. Art Museum Resources and Art Museum Field Trips, two unique courses developed in-house at HCC, allow students to experience the richness of the museum and gallery offerings in the Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area.
