Roles of Peer Leaders- Serve as an advocate for the interests, needs, and rights of freshmen HCC students
- Serve as a mentor to students for academic, co-curricular, and leadership involvement
- Help students adjust and become academically successful
- Attend all freshmen seminar writing classes
- Assist instructor in arranging for visitors and planning community service
- Assist in development of lesson plans and activities
- Assist in facilitating class discussions and presentations
- Communicate regularly with seminar students
- Serve as a liaison for student feedback to the instructor
- Assist in the evaluation process
