In 2004, Louis G. Hutt, Jr. was appointed to the board of trustees to complete the term of Mr. David Rakes.  He was re-appointed to a full term in 2006, which runs through June of 2012. 

Mr. Hutt received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and his Juris Doctor from University of Maryland School of Law.  Mr. Hutt has distinguished himself as both a certified public accountant and a licensed member of the Maryland Bar. 

Currently, Mr. Hutt, a partner at Bennett, Hutt, & Co., LLC, specializes in tax planning for corporations, tax-exempt organizations and individuals as well as representation in connection with tax controversies.  He is the author of The Road to Mega Success: Simple Strategies for Enriching the Bottom Line.

Mr. Hutt has shown great dedication to community involvement, having served on the boards of the Columbia Foundation, the Rouse Entrepreneurial Fund, and Howard County Chamber of Commerce, among many others.

In addition to his role at HCC, he currently serves on the boards of The Horizon Foundation, Washington University, and the Maritime Industries Academy.
