Plant operations is responsible for providing engineering, housekeeping, grounds maintenance, mailing, and facilities project management services to the college. Requesting assistance from plant operations requires submitting a work order request as outlined in procedure 70.03.01 – Work Order Requests. Procedure 70.03.02 – Mailing Requests contains guidelines for using plant operations mailing services. Project management services include oversight of new building construction and renovations. Howard Community College employees and contractors are subject to the provisions of the Howard County policy and procedure, number: 200.11, Confined Space Policy in order to protect and provide health and safety for those personnel.
